Type: Bianco del Ticino DOC

Varietal composition: 60 % Pinot Noir (pressed for white wine), 40 % Chardonnay.
Vinification: The Pinot Noir undergoes crushing and destemming before the must is extracted in a very gentle pressing. Juice from the two varietals is vinified separately. Blending takes place only after the wines have fermented and matured for eight months in barrels of new (60%) and one-year old (40 %) French oak. 
Alcohol content: 13 % Vol.
Color: Crystal and intense straw tinted yellow.
Bouquet: Harmonious and complex. Hints of white flowers, citrus fruits, with roasted notes of vanilla and light spicy nuances.
Palate: Smooth fresh and well-bodied, elegant with a good balance, well-structured. Persistent and mineral at the finish. 

Serving temperature: 12 - 14°C
Aging: The Biancospino 2018 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in autumn 2019 and will continue to develop in character through 2027 and beyond if properly cellared.
