Varietal composition: Merlot
Vinification: The must for this white Merlot is obtained from the free-run juice of the crushing and partial destemming and a very gentle subsequent pressing. It is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a temperature of 18 – 20°C. In order to maintain characteristic freshness and savour, the Terre Alte is not permitted to undergo malolactic fermentation.
Alcohol content: 12,5 % Vol.
Color: Light straw-tinted yellow.
Bouquet: Delicate and harmonious, with white peach, Williams pear, and delicate Citrus and floral nuances.
Palate: Fresh, elegant and harmonious. Mineral and long at the finish. Ideal for aperitifs!
Serving temperature: 8 – 10°C
Aging: The Terre Alte 2018 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in spring of 2019 and will retain its character through 2022 and beyond if properly cellared.
