Tre Valli (Lower Leventina, Riviera and Blenio Valley). | |
| Winemaking: | The must for this Merlot rosé is obtained from the free-run juice of the crushing and destemming and a very gentle subsequent pressing. It is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a temperature of 18 – 20°C. The wine is not permitted to undergo malolactic fermentation in order to maintain characteristic freshness and savour. | |

| Color: | Brilliant raspberry tinted rose. | |
| Bouquet: | Fresh and harmonious, with notes of raspberry and wild strawberry. | |
| Palate: | A delicate balance of fruity elegance and tart freshness on the attack; good body and length make a satisfying mouthful. | |

| Ageing potential: | We suggest drinking the Tre Valli Rosato young. If properly cellared, it will develop in character through 2012. | |
