TRE VALLI ROSATO
ROSATO DI MERLOT - TICINO DOC

Variety: Merlot
Location of the vineyards
Tre Valli (Lower Leventina, Riviera and Blenio Valley).
Winemaking: The must for this Merlot rosé is obtained from the free-run juice of the crushing and destemming and a very gentle subsequent pressing. It is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a temperature of 18 – 20°C. The wine is not permitted to undergo malolactic fermentation in order to maintain characteristic freshness and savour.
Alcohol content: 12.5 % vol
Color: Brilliant raspberry tinted rose.
Bouquet: Fresh and harmonious, with notes of raspberry and wild strawberry.
Palate: A delicate balance of fruity elegance and tart freshness on the attack; good body and length make a satisfying mouthful.

Ideal Drink-Temperature:

8 - 10°C
Ageing potential: We suggest drinking the Tre Valli Rosato young. If properly cellared, it will develop in character through 2012.
