RAMOLO
BIANCO DEL TICINO DOC
Vintage: 2009
Variety: 40% Pinot Gris, 30% Sauvignon Blanc; 15% Chardonnay ; 15% Sémillon
Location of the vineyards
Pinot Gris and Chardonnay from Blenio Valley Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon from Mendrisiotto
Winemaking: Draining from the crushed and partially destemmed grapes followed by very light pressing yields the first-run juice, which is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a temperature of 18–20º C. The four varietal compositions are assembled just before bottling.
Alcohol content: 12.5 % vol
Color: Brilliant golden yellow.
Bouquet: Intense, fruity and complex. With notes of exotic fruits (passion fruit), citrus, and spicy tones.
Palate: Smooth and well-bodied. Fresh, fruity and harmonious, persistent at the finish with hints of citrus. Very pleasant!

Ideal Drink-Temperature:

8 – 10°C
Ageing potential: The Ramolo 2009 will reach its full potential beginning in summer 2010. If properly cellared, it will continue to provide full drinking pleasure through 2014 and beyond
