Location of the vineyards
Municipality of Malvaglia (400 m. s. l. m.) in the Blenio Valley
Winemaking: Vinified traditionally with a maceration period of 10 to 12 days at 28 - 30°C in stainless-steel tanks. The wine is matured in oak casks of 34 to 42 hl and twothree years old barriques for 12 months.
Alcohol content: 12.8 % vol
Color: Intense ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense and fruity, with notes of ripe red berries fruits, and delicates roasted nuances.
Palate: Fresh and fruity. Smooth, harmonious and elegant, medium bodied. Balanced and persistent at the finish.

Ideal Drink-Temperature:

16 – 18 °C
Ageing potential: The Malvaglia 2008 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in the fall of 2010 and will continue to develop in character through 2014 and beyond if properly cellared.
