SWEET WINE
Vintage: 2002
Variety: 70% Riesling x Sylvaner, 30% Chardonnay
Location of the vineyards
Blenio Valley (northern part of the canton Ticino)
Winemaking: The perfectly ripened fruit has been harvested in small bins and “air-concentrated” in a well-ventilated room. Subsequent, the grapes have been destemmed by hand and pressed very gentle. The juice fermented and matured in new French oak barrels for 12 months.
Alcohol content: 13% vol. (residual sugar of 60g/l)
Color: Bright, brilliant gold
Bouquet: Intense and like a fruit basket. Apricots, dates, quinces, dried plums and different citrus fruits like mandarins and pink grapefruits.
Palate: Fruity with a great “Sweet-Sour” balance. Very long, persistent finish and an aftertaste of sweet almonds.

Ideal Drink-Temperature:

8 – 10°C
Ageing potential: Will be at his peak in 2005 and stay up there for another 4 years.
